Token Utility

The DiabetesDAO token ($DIA) serves as:

  • A Governance Tool: Token holders vote on research proposals and funding allocations, ensuring decentralized decision-making.

  • A Multipurpose Voucher (MPV): Token holders will be able to redeem tokens for DAO-enabled products, discounts on DAO-enabled products and access to DAO-enabled services.

  • A Reward System: Contributors receive tokens for meaningful participation, such as reviewing proposals, contributing expertise, or providing community insights.

  • A Funding Currency: Tokens may be used to directly contribute to selected research projects, incentivizing participation in the DAO’s ecosystem.
